Buck Run's missions commitments
These commitments define our strategy for advancing the gospel together. These commitments guide our leadership as we consider missions, partnerships, and objectives. Every member of Buck Run has a role to play in serving our community, planting churches, reaching the nations, and commissioning disciples.
Serve Our Community
Buck Run will show the love of Jesus to Frankfort and the surrounding area by meeting physical needs, seeking the good of our city, and sharing the gospel boldly.
Plant Churches
Buck Run will plant churches that make disciples where there is a unique need for new, healthy local church ministry.
Reach the Unreached
Buck Run will take the gospel to the nations where there is little to no Christian witness.
Send Disciples
Buck Run will train up and send out disciples who make disciples from our community to the ends of the earth.
I. Serve our community.
Serve Frankfort
Serve Frankfort mobilizes Buck Run members to serve the physical needs of people and organizations around us. It is a tangible way we live out our commitment to love people and open doors for the gospel.
Reach Frankfort
Reach Frankfort mobilizes Buck Run members to share the gospel with people in and around Frankfort. We want to be a church that always has the good news of Jesus on our lips.
II. Plant churches.
The gospel is advanced through faithful local churches. We support Overland Church Midtown in Fort Collins and Overland Church Durango in Colorado as they take gospel community into largely unchurched regions. We invest in the Romanian American Mission as they equip church leaders throughout Europe and support church planters like Iosif Marica in Iaşi, Romania. With the help of organizations like NAMB and IMB, we are committed to facilitating our mission work through healthy, gospel-centered churches.

III. Reach the unreached.
The Great Commission demands that people of all nations hear the gospel. Unreached people groups represent over 4 billion people who currently have little or no access to the gospel message. Click below to learn more about our missions partners.
IV. Send Disciples.
In all of these commitments, we want to train up and send out our own. Every Sunday, when we walk away from our church building, we are commissioned into gospel ministry. God has blessed our church with the opportunity to send out evangelists, church planters, and missionaries from our body. We are praying that God would continue to call people out from Buck Run to serve Him on mission from our community in Frankfort to the ends of the earth.
